Who is Robbie Robinson?
Well, he’s definitely not Robby Robinson, “bodybuilding’s most decorated amateur and professional for over 30 years”, nor is he the aboriginal native guitarist/singer Robbie Robertson. However, like this musical legend, Robbie is a musician and a proud Canadian.
Robbie Robinson has an extensive background in public speaking, music and radio marketing. Following graduation, he spent several years travelling through North America, entertaining audiences with his tasteful drumming and humour, as band leader of his musical group.
Returning to his hometown of Owen Sound, Ontario Canada, he pursued a rewarding career in radio marketing. He’s a graduate of McGill University (Montreal, QC) Marketing Course and is a Certified Radio Marketer. Robbie and his wife/business partner Jenny are graduates of the Roy Williams ‘Wizard of Ads’ Marketing Academy near Austin, Texas. Robbie is also a well-respected member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and a board member of CAPS Toronto.
After 20 years of making clients and other sales professionals successful, he developed health challenges that forced him on disability for 2 years. During that time of exploring alternative health methods, bio-magnetics brought on effective relief. The dramatic results experienced then spawned a new career. Robbie again found himself travelling the continent, teaching and training. He recognizes that everything happens for a reason and that “we are all here to teach or learn.”
Today, Robbie focuses on his professional speaking, as he thrives on conveying truths that can change your life. For those desiring a lasting reminder of the information and inspiration shared at one of Robbie’s sessions, he (along with his wife and collaborator Jenny) presents a fun, motivational, Calypso-style song for organizations and companies (click here). Following the event, each attendee is encouraged to play their CD daily, to relive the feelings of excitement and enthusiasm felt in the seminar.
